Shin Sangoku musou 4 Special is a singleplayer and multiplayer third-person hack and slash game developed by Omega Force and published by Koei and CNEC. It is a part of the Dynasty Warriors franchise within the larger Warriors series. It was released as a combination of the main game with its expansion pack for Xbox 360 in Japan on December 22, 2005, in which it features better graphics and high-definition display. The PC version however, did not featured high-definition display but still retain the graphic quality of Xbox 360 version, was released in Japan and Taiwan region on June 22, 2006, and in China on November 5, 2008. There was no English version released.
Enjoy each character's story in "Musou Mode". Enjoy 18 new stories never before seen in the series in "Gaiden Mode". Fight consecutive short scenarios and obtain power-up items in "Shura Mode". New powerful attack actions, including "Musou Awakening" and "Evolution Attacks".
