Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating an account or using SessionPick (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. We may update these terms — continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use SessionPick. By using the Service you confirm that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian.

3. Your account

• —You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure.
• —You may not share your account or create accounts on behalf of others without permission.
• —You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
• —Access to SessionPick is currently by invitation — accounts may be subject to approval.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• —Post content that is illegal, abusive, harassing, or deliberately misleading.
• —Submit spam, commercial solicitations, or off-topic content.
• —Attempt to access accounts, data, or systems you are not authorised to access.
• —Scrape, crawl, or systematically extract data from the Service without our written permission.
• —Use the Service in any way that could damage, disable, or impair it.
• —Impersonate another person or entity.

5. User-generated content

You retain ownership of content you submit (tips, ratings, lists, comments, etc.). By submitting content you grant SessionPick a non-exclusive, royalty-free, worldwide licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content as part of the Service.

We may remove content that violates these terms or our community standards, without notice. Repeated violations may result in account suspension or permanent removal.

6. Third-party platform connections

When you connect Steam, PlayStation Network, GOG, or other platforms, you authorise SessionPick to read library and achievement data from those accounts. You remain bound by the terms of service of those platforms. We are not affiliated with or endorsed by Valve, Sony, GOG, or any other platform provider.

7. Game data accuracy

Session Respect Scores, session length estimates, and pausability ratings are provided for informational purposes only. They are derived from a combination of AI estimates and community contributions and may not be accurate. We make no warranties about the completeness or correctness of any game data on the Service.

8. Intellectual property

The SessionPick name, logo, and all original content produced by us (code, design, copy, and the Session Respect Score dataset) are our intellectual property. You may not reproduce, redistribute, or create derivative works without written permission. Game titles, artwork, and metadata belong to their respective rights holders; we display them under fair use or licence from IGDB.

9. Service availability

SessionPick is provided “as is” and “as available”. We do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time, with or without notice. We are not liable for any downtime or data loss.

10. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, SessionPick and its operators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to loss of data or profits, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at any time for violations of these terms. You may delete your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination your personal data will be handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
