About

Luanti (formerly Minetest) is a near-infinite-world block sandbox game and a game engine, inspired by InfiniMiner, Minecraft, and the like. Minetest changed its name to Luanti from update 5.10.0 (October 2024) leading to a complete rebranding of the games website and forums The new name is a combination of the name of the programming language Lua and the Finnish word "luonti" which means "creation".
