Catan - The First Island is a PC version of the game The Settlers of Catan by Klaus Teuber programmed by Funatics . It was published by Ravensburger in 1999 and allowed the game against 2 to 7 computer opponents, the game in party mode with the players taking turns in front of the PC or the game over the Internet. The 8 selectable computer opponents were given different character traits, and well-known actors were hired to set the saved answer sentences to music, among others. Ralf Wolter , known as the actor who played Sam Hawken in the Karl May films produced in the 1960s .
